Edge Preference Setting

Around June 2021 Microsoft made an update to Windows that changed the default setting for their web browsers such that launching Internet Explorer (IE) would automatically redirect the user to Microsoft Edge.  This is part of Microsoft’s campaign to completely retire IE by June 15^th, 2022. 

To change the preference so that IE is still allowed, use these steps:

1. Open Microsoft Edge on Windows 10 --> Settings.

   
2. Click on Default Browser on the left menu.
3. Select Incompatible Sites only (Recommended)
   
   
4. Close the window.
5. Close and Re-Open all browser windows and Onesite should load in IE normally
6. Click the three dots at the top of the browser once you have reopened the page:

To confirm that are in IE mode, you will see the Internet Explorer Icon in the browser search bar:
