This same check has previously been scanned based on the same routing, account, and check number for a payment document that has already been posted.
Resolution
To search for a previously scanned payment:1. Go to the Navigation Menu > Administration > RealPage Exchange
2. Under Transaction Research, click View Imported Transactions
3. Enter the System date posted range starting with the issue date of the payment through the current date
4. Enter the Document number to search and click Build List

If the item is listed, then it has already been scanned before.
Note: A temporary or counter check may be valid to use a second time even though it uses the same check number and you can either deposit it directly to the bank and manually post the payment on the residents ledger or request for a replacement payment from the resident.
