Close a bank deposit for manual payments entered either directly to a ledger or through Quick Payment Posting.
Procedure
To close the bank deposit:
1. Go to Navigation Menu > Administration > Leasing and Rents - Frequent Accounting > Bank deposits
2. Fill out the following information:

- Total for deposit
- Bank account
- Subproperty: If selected, this filters for transactions posted to this subproperty
- User: If selected, this filters for transactions posted by this user
- Description: If needed, enter additional notes regarding the deposit to close
3. Click Next
4. Review the transactions listed and select those to include in the deposit
5. Click Next and verify the deposit information
6. Click Next > Post
7. Click Print Report to print the Bank Deposit Details report for this batch, and/or Close

Additional Information
Note: Once the bank deposit is closed, the deposit total cannot be changed.TIP
If you are unsure of the amount of what is waiting to be closed in the deposit:
1. Enter $0 for the amount
2. Select your first Account
3. Click Next
a. If it prompts "No Items to Post", click OK and select the next Account2. Select your first Account
3. Click Next
b. If it goes to the next screen, you will see a list of the payments that have yet to be deposited
