What is the difference between rescore and rescreen?
Rescreen is a second, complete screening that will pull an applicant's credit record or "hit their credit" for a second time. It is required when the first screening was done using an incorrect social security number or the wrong scoring model was used.
Rescore is a "soft" screen, meaning it is not going to hit the applicant's credit a second time. This is used when certain parts of the screening application are edited, such as an incorrect driver's license number.
