Ledger Card Vocabulary

• All Ledger View- All transactions by the most recent accounting period.
  
• Accounting View - (The dirty ledger)-every transaction shows including all corrections.
  
  
  
• Deposit Ledger - The view of deposit transactions only.
  
  
  
• Resident/Resident Ledger - Charges/Payments only posted as the resident's responsibility
  
  
  
• Subsidy Ledger - HUD Charges/Payments only posted as the management's responsibility
  
  
  
• Local Ledger - Housing Assistance Charges/Payments-management responsibility.
  
  
  
• HUDRepay Ledger - Used to track all HUD repayment agreement activity
  
  
  
• Commercial Ledger -Tracking of any commercial lease charges/payments
  
  
  
• Miscellaneous Income Ledger(s) - Common area and/or item charges and payments are tracked here.
  • Examples: Laundry Income - Management; Application Fee - resident.
    
    
• HUD repayment - ledger-ledger is used to maintain and report resident repayment transactions to HUD.
